ABOUT US
Carney & Taylor was founded to be an answer, a solution, a means to an outcome for managing crises in various industries. When a group of business and legal professionals meet, there can only be an unmatched comradery of partnership. That is what has happened with the formation of Carney and Taylor thanks to its Founder, Marquette Carney.
Having been a long time problem solver in the healthcare industry, Marquette has never accepted the response of "that is how we have always done it." As a Certified Life Coach and Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he has an innate ability to quickly assess a situation, ask a few questions, and immediately diagnose the root cause. As an avid watcher of the series Scandal, he recognized and accepted his calling of being a "fixer." He realized that his decades of solving problems was for a greater purpose. A few years ago, he decided to marry his ability to solve problems with a law degree. He matriculated in Liberty University School of Law earning a Juris Master in American Legal Studies. He added a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University to his credentials. With that, he decided to focus on legal advocacy and strategic advising. Not wanting to stop there, he trained to become a registered healthcare arbitrator and a Georgia court-referred registered arbitrator. He believes, "In order to advise effectively, one must be equipped and ready for anything."
